We had a great time performing at the Altapass Orchard on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday. We are getting excited for a busy couple of weeks with some private performances, and a show at the Black Mountain United Methodist Church this Saturday, as well as the Isis Restaurant and Music hall next Tuesday!
Blue Wheel Drive had a great time at our last show at The Native in Swannanoa, NC. Thanks to everyone who came!
Also, We have a another sneak peak from the upcoming album. Here is an original song about a local moonshine legend. Thanks to Merl Johnson from the James King Band for playing fiddle with us on this one.
March is just about over, and we are sure excited about our upcoming April Shows in Marshall and Swannanoa! Also, we are continuing to work on the album. Here is a picture of Rob Parks in the Studio:

Blue Wheel Drive will soon be finishing their debut, self-titled album. The album will recognize the history and traditions of bluegrass music, while incorporating the bands, hard-driving, modern sound. High-lonesome singing, driving rhythm, innovative instrumental playing, and tight harmonies will make the Blue Wheel Drive album an collection of songs that true bluegrass fans, and people exploring new music will enjoy.
